Well I'm glad that I didn't skip this arc

Alright imma say stuff that relates to the TYBW arc cause I'm a bit confused. So if you don't want spoilers don't click! Since "old man zangetsu" is Ichigo's quincy powers manifesting and it's literally Yhwach suppressing the actual Zangetsu and White cause both ichigo's hollow powers and soul reaper powers are fused together unlike his quincy powers. Did Muramasa only take half of ichigo's shinigami powers along with all of his quincy powers to form "Old man Zangetsu" cause he still did have his soul reaper powers but it's seemed that white had waay more control. This is my re-watch and when I watched it originally I didn't know that "old man Zangetsu" was his quincy powers suppressing his other powers. But now that I do, I'm surprised that muramasa didn't only take out the actual zangetsu. But ig that'd be ruining TYBW plot twist if they did do that

I don't know if the Quincy Arc had started -when this Arc came out- but I believe it has to do with "Zangetsu-ossan" trying to make Ichigo stronger for Yhwach

the main way u can tell its a filler is cause its completely out of place. its in the middle of an arc and the timeline is different. but anyways, a filler is something that is not canon (not in the source (the manga in this case)) and this isnt in the manga meaning it is in fact a filler arc.

I know that fillers dont make sense, but this is too much, ever since Ichigo won his battle against his inner hollow who is actually Zangetsu and is one with the old man, which mean he souldnt have come out since Zangetsu left Ichigo, the inner hollow didnt come out during Ichigo's battle in canon arcs, even when Ichigo was crushed by Grimmjow and Qlquiorra and the inner hollow never transformed like he did in this episode, Ichigo got plot armor even in filler arcs.

If Ichigo didnt try to fight back this arc would have ended in 2 more episodes.
